The "Headhunter" pictured here in the Port Angeles Harbor during sea trials is a 30' Catamaran with a 11' beam. The commercial crab and charter fishing vessel is outboard powered with Suzuki's© 4.0-liter, 300 horsepower V6 motors (2 of them). Electronics by Raymarine© E120, features a 64 mile radar, side scan sonar with a 14 in. display. Twin control stations. Hydraulic systems include a Vickers© V20 9gpm pump off the 5.0kw Westerbeke© generator. The V20 powers a Pacer© 9gpm water pump (circulating live wells) and a 13 horsepower Honda©/Kinematics© hydraulic power pack with electric start and quick disconnects operate the removable davit with hydraulic ram and 14" hydraulic pinch hauler. A Xantrex© 2500 watt inverter for AC power. The Cabin is 11'-6" long x 7' wide. The layout features a standup head with an ITT Jabsco manual toilet and 20gl holding tank with Y-valve, a Marinco© solar ventilator, a shower with a Kuuma© 6gl hotwater heater plumbed to the generator, a dinette that converts to a bed, a small galley includes a Wallace© safeflame 2 burner stove and forced air heater, small stainless steel sink, and a Norcold© MRFT 40 refridgerator\freezer. Cabin heating and air conditioning by Flagship Marine (18000)btu with 2KW heat element backed up by a Toyo© NS2800 diesel heater for windshield defrost. A 30gl freshwater tank with demand pump. The forward cuddy berth sleeps 2 with storage below and a Lewmar© rooftop hatch for access. The walls are covered with R-Max insulation and Sequencha white board and wood trim.
